HOW DOES CROCETTA WORKS

Crocetta is an auction house different from the others, specializing in Advertising Posters and Modern and Contemporary Art.
Here are the steps necessary to present objects, participate in auctions, make offers and buy lots.

SELL

1 CI MATERIAL SIGNALS

Tell us the material that you find interesting and that you would like to sell through our auctions. There is no limit to the number of items you can submit to us! It is important to include photos, description, any documents of the items, especially regarding works of art, and your idea of what the estimate and reserve price might be. 2 EVALUATION

Based on the data you provide, we propose an economic estimate and a reserve price. If these parameters satisfy you, we will proceed to fill out a sales mandate and establish which auction your material can be included in.

3 ITEMS ARE SOLD

When the lots are awarded and paid for by the buyer you will be notified of the sale and the price realized.
If the lots are not sold, the sales mandate is automatically terminated. If you wish to include the lots again in our next auctions, just let us know and we will fill out a new sales mandate.

4 SHIP/DELIVERY THE GOODS

You will be given the buyer's contact details and will arrange the shipping. Alternatively we will organize a hand delivery with the buyer, it is understood that it is always the buyer who reaches the seller to collect the lots. Exceptions can be made for particular lots.

5 PAYMENT

Payment will be made after the goods are delivered/collected by the customer according to the timescales set out in the "TERMS OF USE".

BUY

1 YOU WIN A LOT

After registering and participating in an auction, if your bid on a lot is successful, it will be awarded to you. There is no limit to the number of lots you can win in a single auction.

2 YOU PAY FOR THE LOT

You will be contacted by us shortly after the end of the auction, we will issue you an invoice with the total amount to be paid, including commissions which amount to 15% VAT included.
You can tell us whether you wish to receive the lot by post or prefer to collect it manually.

3 RECEIVE THE LOT

Once payment has been made, we will proceed with shipping or collection by hand.
